  Don't recommend traveling to PJ Mountain just to eat at this restaurant (mountain is great). I took my husband for 60th birthday dinner, because their website said they were open each Friday and Saturday, 5-9 p.m. We arrived at 6 pm on Friday. I asked receptionist, who was sitting in a very dark lobby, if restaurant was open but she said it was reserved for a private party. Obviously it wasn't, as there were only 3 cars in parking lot. Don't rely on their website for correct information.

  Place is dark and spooky. Food was ok, took about 50 minutes to get our food and we were the first ones to arrive for dinner. Fries were salted like it was going out of style (i.e. too much). Honestly, the food was nothing special. The pulled chicken sandwich was a good idea. Once Mather's Lodge re-opens don't bother with this place.

  Great experience. Tammy made us a vegetable soup and portabella meal fit for a vegan king! Thanks so much for accommodating our plant-based diet. We will come back if we vacation near here again.
